Calcium Carbonate
Calcium carbonate (CaCO3) is a product which is found in nature, and it exists as a solid material which is present in many stone types such as marble, limestone, and travertine. Some minerals consist totally of calcium carbonate.
The type of calcium carbonate that is produced by Monte Bianco S.r.l. is obtained from grinding limestone, and its degree of purity is 99%.

Use
Our Calcium carbonate is used as an additive in the production of animal feed and supplements for animal nutrition.
Due to its nutritional and absorbent properties and its environmental compatibility it is increasingly used in the fertiliser industry because it absorbs pollutants and is free of harmful substances.
Calcium carbonate is a natural and eco-friendly material and that is why it is perfectly suited to the application of environmental protection: in the desulphurisation of combustion fumes, in the treatment of drinking water, up to the neutralisation of acid rain.
